We camped in a 30ft Travel Trailer. All sites are paved and level. Majority have trees; however, sites are not shaded all day. We stayed site #10. There was some shade in the mornings and late afternoon, but none at midday. At site #10, you cannot see the next camper on #11 because there are several trees/bushes in between. The bath house is clean, but there was no hand soap or paper towels, just the hand blower. Showers are Ok. We like the campground because all sites are paved and level. The campground is very quiet. The host is very nice. Small boat/kayak launch is very near and there is a small 1.3 mile walking trail. No water at the sites only electric hook up.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

This might be a good spot for RVs, but it was horrible for tent camping. There are a ton of bugs and they are incredibly loud. There were small flies (that we later realized were biting us) that fit through the mesh in our tent and we got covered in bug bites.

We stayed here in a Tent.

Could not ask for better camp hosts. Clean, well-kept. Bathrooms little outdated. Just wish they had full hookup. Electric only. But everything is convenient. Great area to ride motorcycle. Sites are paved. Well-shaded. Make sure you get to eat at Carteret Diner. Would revisit.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.
