| Nice park, close to everything | |
We really enjoyed our two-week stay here this past October. While the facilities were not "Resort New," they were functional, and the park was a great place to stay. It is close to the pier and beaches, shopping and everything else on South Hatteras Island.
For the freshest seafood on the island, go to Avon Harbor and get your fish and shrimp right off the boat.
This park is cash only so make sure you are prepared for that. We are planning to return next year.
