Nice Campground for tents & RVs

I would give this campground 5 stars but it can be noisy sometimes because its close to the parkway. The Foothills parkway is popular with motorcyclists. Its an awesome place for motorcyclists to stay if they are doing Blue Ridge/ Foothills/ Cherohala parkway touring.
Its a lot more quiet than the Cades Cove Campground but not as big and not as easy for larger RVs.
We are tent campers and we LOVED staying there 2 nights with our dogs.
If you take your dog remember to clean up after them , dogs are not allowed on hiking trails, and no excesive barking!
When this campground is quiet its a perfect spot. Lots of trees and birds to watch.
The campground host is very nice and helpful.

We stayed here in a Tent.
