This small generator-free campground, located 2 miles south of Tower Junction, is open mid-may to late September. Campsites are on a first-come, first serve basis and due to the size and popularity of this campground it fills early in the day.
Camping is $12 per night.
Located within a short walking distance of Tower Creek, the campsites are in a mixed pine forest. Campsites are best suited for tents and small RVs. Potable water is available from hand pumps and restroom facilities are vault toilets. Evening ranger programs may be offered between mid-June and early September.
In addition to the nearby general store, Roosevelt Lodge--two miles away--offers a restaurant, showers and horse operation, including saddle rides, stagecoach rides and a nightly western cookout. Backcountry permits and general hiking information are available at the Tower Ranger Station.
