Best of the best in the Florida Keys

Okay, let's get the bad stuff out of the way first - NO-SEE-UMS! 7% DEET isn't good enough - 15% minimum. And, keep your windows closed - the little buggers can crawl through the screens.
The grounds are absolutely beautiful, with different colored stone for driveways and pads. The staff goes above and beyond with service. We were there over Christmas and New Year and they fed everyone Xmas dinner!
We had a lot of wind and rain while there (while the rest of the country was freezing), but on the more pleasant evenings many of us showed up at the Tiki Hut for cocktails.
There are docks for power boats and kayaks alike.
The Dolphin Research Center is right next door and worth a visit.
The Wreck Galley and Grill - walking distance - has excellent and reasonably priced fare. I had the mussels appetizer and it was huge - over 20 in a garlic wine sauce.
Internet service was strong, the pool - when not loaded with grandchildren - was good for laps (and warm). Water pressure was low - 2 gal/minute, probably a result of the back-flow preventer. Those things are problematic!
We met many great people and made a few new friendships. Others we met who were also there for the first were making reservations for next year before they left. We would definitely return - and that just may happen next winter!

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.
