Country Camping at Cape May Courthouse

The sites here have been nicely leveled and are spacious. Most are separated from adjacent sites with trees and shrubs, surfaced with sand, gravel and some grass and have full hook-ups, picnic tables and a fire ring. This facility is clearly geared to accommodating large RVs. Many sites are large enough to not only accommodate a large RV but also provide parking for a companion vehicle. We never felt crowded.

Roads to the sites are wide, clearly marked and are free of hanging tree limbs that would drag on large vehicles and trailers. Using the large color map provided during check-in, there is no need for an escort during daylight hours. Analog cable TV hookups are included but Wi-Fi is an extra charge. For group meetings there is both an indoor and outdoor pavilion. A game room and snack bar is open for limited hours. The campground store in the same building as the check-in counter has a good stock of basics. Baths, showers and the laundry are clean and modern. Propane is sold on site for filling portable tanks. Other amenities include an outdoor basketball court, shuffleboard, miniature golf and swimming pool.

Our stay here was pleasant. We found nothing to criticize. This campground is carefully supervised, well-maintained and offers a full range of modern amenities in a country setting just one mile from the Garden State Parkway and about fourteen miles from Ocean Drive in Cape May.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.

Not my kinda place, but still worth the trip

As a tent camper, I'm not usually a fan of these family style, theme drive, RV parking lots. However, BTL knows how to keep even me occupied. From game night to Halloween Week, there was hardly any time for me to sit and dream about my tent in a wilderness site. Definitely worth another visit.

We stayed here in a Popup Trailer.

This is the place for campground activities. Themed weekends, dances, programs for the kids, pool and lake swimming, and many other amenities. Located in the heart of Cape May County nearby to the beaches, boardwalk and amusements, and historic museums. We are never bored when camping here. Very clean and well maintained with friendly staff.
