Description
For Hunters, Hikers, or Snowbirds!

Shanty Pond is a campground centered between several small ponds, located south of Salt Springs off SR 19. A favorite of equestrians and hunters. Snowbirds, however there is plenty of room for your large rigs, and you may be delighted to know we have a 120 day stay limit here so you could make this your base of operation this winter. Shanty Pond is seasonally open from October 15 through April 15.

No tent or soft sided campers camping due to recurring bear activity.
