We have stayed at dozens of campgrounds over the years and this one is the best by far. Beatiful big clean sites, many right on the water. Quiet neighbors, great fishing, hiking and canoeing and big clean shower facilities - you just couldn't ask for a better experience. We booked another visit on the way out.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

This place is horrible. Unless you are a seasonal camper there, forget about any hospitality. Owners are crackpots. They have no personality. They had one dog that brought a ball to my son and dropped it at his feet. My son picked it up and tossed it and the dog repeated this 3 more times. It seemed like the dog and my son were enjoying this little game. The fourth time , my son went to pick up the ball and toss it again and the dog bit him. The lady owner said, "well you're son shouldn't have teased her". REALLY!! How 'bout, "well you're dog shouldn't be nuts" and definitely shouldn't be around children. Turns out the dog had a habit of doing this to everyone but yet it was my son's fault.
Kids are running around screaming all day long. The beach is small and filthy. The platform in the water on the beach has nails and staples sticking out of it holding down the ripped carpeting. The fire pits are falling apart. Dirty, unfriendly plac
