They phoned us two days after we paid for a week to plainly ask us that we have to leave after our first week so they can rent our site. I'm like, we will never rent any site there anymore. They did that also to a family member who had been there also. We are native Rochesterians. Never again, so we are now at Holiday Hill Campground

We stayed here in a Class C Motorhome.

Let's do away with any of the previous not so happy campers from a few years ago. My husband and I took a chance and we were not disappointed. Wow, this is truly a little piece of camping heaven! What a nice campground! Sites are nice and the view is awesome. The new owners, Donna & John are great people who truly care about their campers. Community campground activities and bonfire was so much fun, always great to meet new campers. Donna and John made sure to see that all their campers are happy and satisfied . We first camped on Labor Day and loved it so much that we returned 2 weeks later. We will definitely be telling all our friends and will be returning often!

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

Not a very happy camper. Water constantly went off and left grey silt in tubs. To be fair, the camp hosts Stui and his wife were wonderful keeping the site nicely mowed and explaining the water problem he was having. And not being resolved by the owner for several months. But did all he could to get good clean water to us unlike the supposed owners. I have since heard that the owners have let them go after working so hard because they told campers about the water problem. Owner is still taking booking and not informing the public/campers that when arrive there will be no water. I have now seen online at thecampgroundconnections.com that the site is up for sale. And I believe that no seasonal campers are aware of this fact from the current owners. The hosts made several improvements at their expense, unaware the owner were just using them to make the site look better for her own gain. We had a real bad storm and the owner never came up to check on the damage or if any of her campers were injured.so just shows how they care... So be warned -- visit at your own peril!

We stayed here in a Truck Camper.

Lost That Homey Feeling

I used to camp here years ago. Back then this was a really homey campground. After going back last summer, I'll never again visit this place. It's really tumbled down to a state of disrepair. Everything is run down and dirty. The grounds are overrun with weeds and all. Worst part is the fact that there is a campground owner here, but apparently she doesn't seem to care except to try and rip people off their money.

We stayed here in a 5th Wheel.
