Driving back to Pendleton, Oregon from Santa Cruz, we decided to stay the night in the Bend area. But when we got to Tumalo State Park, it was full. We were so thankful that we knew about Camping Road Trip to find us a close spot! Haystack Reservoir was a great find, easily accessed late at night. Very quiet and pretty, except the coyotes and the frogs. :) Clean vault toilets. Not a lot of trees on these West Shore sites so it probably is pretty toasty in summer. But the price is right and the site is lovely. It was late so we didn't even pop the tent, and we slept in our van. :) | | Comments (0) |
