Great for a primitive camp!

This rating is based on my husband's camping preference. He would give it a five, as this is the kind of park my husband LOVES. He would take a 12 site, primitive campground with no water and vault toilets any day over a bustling, RV-packed state park. I am somewhere in the middle. It would be five stars for a few more amenities (and less bugs!) or even a shop down the road a few miles. But being one of only two campers in the campground, the solitude is unsurpassed. With the second best site in the place, the kids playing capture the flag and cavorting in the river... It can't be beat! If you need water and showers, this is not the place for you. If you want solitude and a beautiful river rushing by at your feet, bring it on!

We stayed here in a Tent.
