They boarded up the Pit toilets took out the tables, fire rings and trash cans. This campground is not taken care of any longer. It being let go back to wild again. The last small concreate bridge is broken in half so it is dangerous to cross.

I LOVE this campground! It's a spot that's only known to locals and a few others, so it's never very crowded and is very quiet and peaceful. There is a beautiful mountain stream next to the campsites and a couple trails for hiking. If you like scenic camping that you can drive to, this is where you should stay; it's a perfect base camp for rafting on the Ocoee!
