My wife and I camped here two nights in June 2013. The campground is reachable via a gravel road that is not too difficult to drive on. We camped in Site 6, which has a small stream running beside it. There were few other campers. WARNING: At the time of this writing, no potable water was available, so bring or purify your own. The vault toilets are modern, clean, and well-maintained. Bear-proof trash containers are used and detailed instructions are given on how to deal with bears. We didn't see any bears, however. On both nights, we viewed the amazing synchronized firefly display. If you are there when they are active, be sure to get out of your tent around 9:30pm. If you decide to drive to Rattlesnake Gap, know that it's a very narrow road and pray that you don't meet any cars coming the other direction.

We stayed here in a Tent.
