Local Directions: From Santa Ynez, CA, take State Rt. 246 north 1.5 miles to intersection of State Rts. 246 and 154. Continue through intersection onto Armour Ranch Rd. and go 1.6 miles to Happy Canyon Rd. Turn left onto Happy Canyon Rd. and go 13.8 miles to a "T" intersection. Continue straight onto Sunset Valley Rd. 5.6 miles to campground. Sections of Happy Canyon Rd. are impassible in wet weather. As an alternative route, take Figueroa Mt. Rd. from Los Olivos, CA for 20.6 miles to Sunset Valley Rd. Turn left onto Sunset Valley Rd. and go 3.8 miles to campground sign. Turn left into campground.
