Description
Anacapa Island may only be reached by boat. Visitors are required to arrange boat transportation to the island before reserving a campsite. Contact the park's authorized concessioner, Island Packers or use your own private boat.

Distance from landing to campground is one-half mile and includes a 157-stair climb.

This is a pack-in/pack-out facility.

Two overlooks, Cathedral Cove and Pinniped Point, provide excellent viewing areas for watching seals and sea lions in the island coves. Hike to the light house for some picture-perfect moments, or factor in some time to boat to the other four islands in Channel Islands National Park.
