Shady, relaxing place.

We enjoyed our stay at the fairgrounds. It was $12.00 for electric and water. There were only 3 trailers, so plenty of spaces and privacy. A train goes by often nearby. There was a concert that night near the grandstands, but they finished by 9:00 p.m. The dump is near the horse barn and can accommodate several trailers at once.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

Self-pay box - $3 primitive or $11 for RVs. 30 amp hookups with water. Dump station onsite. Choice of sites from paved to grass. Many of the grass sites have lots of shade. Unfortunately, many sites are difficult to get level. Internet is theoretically available, but does not cover the entire campground, which includes the "Pecan Grove" across the road from the Fairgrounds. Bordered by the Walnut River, so you can fish if you wish. Various events from early spring into early autumn. Good place just to relax.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.
