Just three or four miles from Interstate 40, this is an accessible, sensible place to get a good night's sleep on a full-hookup site for a reasonable fee. My Passport America membership entitled me to half their already reasonable price here.

When I arrived at about 6:30 on December 1st, I was greeted and escorted to the large pull-through full-hookup 50-amp site that I had reserved by phone. My host even offered to help me with the hookups. My site was spacious enough to accommodate my 35-foot long motorhome plus an 18-foot travel trailer that I had in tow. A neighboring camper had enough space to park his 3/4 ton pickup truck with his huge fifth-wheel trailer still attached.

When Wi-Fi is offered by campgrounds, I have found that most of the time their service is so slow that it's virtually worthless. This campground was a pleasant surprise. Their service offered a no-hassle log-in. Speed was fast enough for me to check my mail, view some Websites, do some useful work and even write this review.

Nothing is fancy here, but this campground does a good job with the basics and doesn't charge an arm and a leg for them.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.
