We stayed here end July 2015. We all came to fish and left happy. A few also came to see bears so they left happy as well. Sure wish it was open all the time. Came up June 2016 it is closed due to the high water - only a few sites affected though.
We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

Disappointed in Moraine Campground

The Lee Vining campgrounds are spread out along the creek and most are waterfront. Very primitive camping but that's what we like and even with the California drought, there was plenty of water to support the great Trout fishing. It's always been a favorite but this time we camped close to the camp host. They had 4 dogs that barked constantly and they had an extra family with them who were very loud. We could hear their conversations above the sound of the water late into the night and first thing in the morning.
We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.
