I read the previous positive review of this place and needed to get my RV to the dealer in Idaho Falls, so I made this my Sunday destination. It's a beautiful place, but a little weird for tent campers.
1) The price has doubled - $20 for tent, $30 for hookup.
2) There is a message for tent campers to call host before pitching tent. Do so. There are sprinklers set up throughout the grounds that go on at various times. If you pitch a tent in the tent area, you'll get soaked by the sprinklers at some point. Host was very nice and sent me to a dry site with a beautiful view. He also unlocked one of the bathrooms for me. Apparently, they don't open the bathrooms until Memorial Day. I never understand year round campgrounds that don't have pit toilets somewhere.
3. Gates are locked at 10:00.

We stayed here in a Tent.

Most recent stay was 8/04/16. We camped in a Tear Drop style RV, only 15' long w/o toilet or shower. We like to eat outdoors using the picnic table and set up our dining canopy for sun and weather protection. We rely on condition of campground's facilities near our site, so our critique is focused in that area.

Overall this park has nice facilities. 3 loops with paved roads and sites which are very nicely spaced-out, mixed together with grass & juniper bushes. It has flush toilets and spacious showers in every loop. The showers have dated and annoying spray heads but decent water pressure w/hot water and a bench in changing area. All are kept clean. No dump station however, and no hooks or shelves in shower stalls or community sink area. Air dryers only, no paper towels for you to clean up the sinks after use.

Each site has a picnic table and fire ring with lots of room between them and all sit on top of relatively flat plateau above the reservoir. Some sites have very little shade. The juniper bushes provide spots of low-lying shade for the sitting area, but limited shade for the RV & it can get very hot in summer. Many sites have full hookups (either 30 or 50 amp/water/sewer), plus prices are outstanding. Overnight Camping Fees: $10.00 tent area and dry dock camping. Only $18 for FHU with $2.00 discount for Idaho State Parks and Recreation Golden Age.

We stayed here in a Teardrop Trailer.
