Great for Shopping

If you're in Fredericksburg and looking to just enjoy the sights, then this campsite is very nice. If you're hoping to cook out to save some money on your trip, then this is not it.

When we got there, we knew the sites were going to be close, which was fine. We were there for the wine and the shopping. However, I felt bad for the couple next to us who were grilling out. I hooked up my sewer hose on their patio right next to their grill.

That's just not what I think of when I think of extra seasoning.

Other than that, they got friendly staff, they had a nice pool and the location was great and close to downtown.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

A decent enough older park

I stayed here with my family for a week. On the plus side, it's close to the local attractions. The grounds and facilities are nice and clean and kept in good order. The staff are friendly and polite. A few of the facilities like the hot tub are obviously old but are well-maintained. The sites are roomy enough with concrete patios. We had full hookups on our site as well as cable TV. No internet, though. My only real complaint is driveway is very narrow.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.
