Poorly and unprofessionally managed

I made a monthly reservation for a site and when I showed up there was no available site. Called the number on the door and was told to pick any of the three available sites listed on the envelopes. Each site listed was taken. This park accepts cash and check only, reservations are not held with payment or documented. The park is being run by a brother and sister team and I was subjected to their sibling rivalry while they blamed each other. I have stayed here a few times and the office is never open. Mark was somewhat testy during all this, he had a loose cow that he needed to find. These two run this park as a hobby not as business. My worst ever experience at an RV park!

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.

A nice park, but for some reason, the restrooms and showers have been closed. No one I talked to knew why. No one was ever in the office. Check-in is by phone. Credit cards are not accepted ( checks and cash only). We were there for several days and never saw any maintenance workers. It has highway noise and the concrete plant next door is noisy but acceptable to me. Otherwise, it is a very nice park. If the office, restrooms and showers were open, I would give it 5 stars.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

Not a Resort but Decent Enough

To call this RV park a resort is misleading as it doesn't have any amenities common in resorts, not even a swimming pool. Worse, there's a cement factory right next door that generates a lot of noise during the day and very early in the morning. On the plus side, the park is clean and well-maintained. It's also close to a number of shops and restaurants. Staff are friendly. Sites are long and spacious even for big rigs. There's cable and the wi-fi is decent.

We stayed here in a Class C Motorhome.

This is a great cookie cutter of a place to camp. I like the location it is close to the river activities in San Marcos. Even though it is small they have a weight room in the clubhouse.

We stayed here in a Class B Motorhome.
