Check-in was easy and the staff is friendly. Roads are well-marked and in good shape. Many sites are not level, so bring your blocks! Sites in our loop were spacious and ranged from fun sun to full shade. Aluminum picnic tables were very nice, had fire rings and lantern poles. Utility connections were convenient and worked well.

Campground was quiet and had lots of wildlife to watch including Deer, Rabbits, and Roadrunners. There are hiking trails, fishing piers, and a swim cove, but be ready for some elevation change. There is an onsite marina with rentals.

There is WiFi at the restrooms, but it does not reach to all the campsites. We did get Verizon cell coverage as well as 10 OTA TV stations.

We enjoyed a visit to the nearby Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge, and also renting a boat from Eisenhower Yacht Club and spending the day on the lake.

Overall a nice place and we will stay here again when in the area.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.
