Pretty nice overall. Lots of trees and very nice location. Sites are very, very close together, however, with no privacy. Convenient place if you're going to Kennedy Space Center.

| Great neighbors, friendly staff and beautiful setting | |
This was our maiden voyage stop in our new "home." Really didn't know what to expect, but the staff was helpful with arranging our sites and need to extend our stay. The camp store has all kinds of supplies at really reasonable prices. Brevard County Parks & Recreation runs this campground and do it with quality and fine customer service. One neat thing about this campground is that it is on the shores of the Indian River, and looking east you can see NASA's Cape Canaveral and the vehicle assembly building. Just sit on the banks of the river, look east, and take pride in all the fantastic years of the USA space program.

We have been there twice now, the first time with a camping club group and went back again this year for a family camping trip and had a good time. There was a little problem because a boy scout troop was there and there was a bit of mischievous behavior in the men's bathroom - not the park's fault. They have a nice little pool and were in the process of building new bathrooms near the pool. It is on the intracoastal so if you have kayaks you can put them in there, Kennedy Space Center is across the intracoastal. We will go again. Why it is my kind of park? It has a lot of trees, it has a pool and it is not what I call a foofoo park. We have a camper, not a big motorhome, we go camping. (I guess I am a motorhome snob)
