Nice quiet park. It is a strain to get up the road to the campground because it's so steep. We've never had a problem with the road even in the rain. We just put the truck in low gear and take it slow. Large roomy sites with nice bathrooms. The hike to the bottom of the waterfall is long but worth it. The lodge is convenient for using your computer and the views are nice. The buffet is actually pretty good there. On a hike in the woods behind the campground we found the beginning of the Appalachian Trail. We will go back.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

Great for tents, and small trailers or short RV's.

This is a beautiful park with very helpful workers but to access the campground you need to climb a VERY steep and winding road and remember you need to go back down with good brakes! I believe the length limit is 20 feet. This is the perfect place for tents and truck campers and perhaps tent trailers. That being said, there is great hiking and great climbing with wooden steps along the water falls. The cabins are near the campground and the lodge is nearby with great food. At the base of the mountain is the dump station, picnic area, and wonderful interactive nature center.
This is a great place to start your hike to the Len Foote Hike-Inn (5 miles and reservations needed) or to the start of the Appalachian Trail.
This is NOT the place for large Class A motorhomes or large 5th wheels!

We stayed here in a Tent.
