Enjoy history and explore a salt marsh

This park is nestled within a salt marsh. Very pretty. The park is very clean and the campground hosts are helpful and attentive to guests. It is quite a ways away from shopping and dining, so it is a good idea to stock up on supplies before checking in. The park also maintains a Civil War fort that you do not want to miss. South of the "gnat" line, so don't forget bug spray.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.

Sites were huge. Bath houses were very clean. The ranger that checked us in was really friendly and courteous. Lots of things to do like fishing, boating and hiking. Very near Historic District and Tybee Island. Would definitely come back.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.
