Nice But Pricey

Conveniently located just off Route 30 (Lincoln Highway) in Lancaster, this campground is near to shopping and restaurants, has well-maintained, level, scenic full-hookup campsites and caters mostly to overnight RV guests, not tents, long-term, seasonal or permanent campers. Two attractive pavilions are available to host group meetings. The campground has a small store with limited selections of basic supplies, a small laundry, a propane station to portable tanks and the nice touch of a FREE air station to keep tires properly inflated. Cable TV hookups for guests offer about 48 analog channels. Using an antenna, there are about a dozen digital HD-TV channels available. Charging us nearly $100 for a two-night stay seemed a bit high, but it was all-inclusive, so I would stay here again. Even in late November their campground was nearly full for the weekend.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.

Clean, picturesque, within walking distance to Dutch Wonderland

We camped here during midweek. We had a spot at the end of a road across from the grass and stream. It was very picturesque, with cows grazing in the countryside and ducks in the stream. Of course, walking into Dutch Wonderland was the focus of our trip and just wonderful to be able to go back and forth for naps and dinner, and to return for the water park. Playground and camp store were nice. I must have used the private for-one bathroom before anyone else; it was as clean as home, and I let the management know it! We left Friday, as the extra spaces filled, the noise level grew, bicycles multiplied. But, it seemed everyone was having a good time.

We stayed here in a Class B Motorhome.
