This campground has a little bit of something for everybody. It has a reasonably well-stocked camp store, outdoor swimming pool, indoor swimming pool, hot-tub, indoor pavilion, ball field, fishing/boating/swimming lake, rental boats, paddle ball, playgrounds, modern laundry facilities and a scenic walking/jogging/biking trail around the lake.

We arrived at 11:30 pm on Friday and had been lost in the dark on the narrow winding country roads that lead to the campground entrance. We called the campground and their answering service had one of their staff call us, give us turn-by-turn guidance by phone, meet us at the security gate and escort us to our campsite.

Our campsite (Acorn 2) was spacious, level and an easy walk to the outdoor pool, store and campground entrance. Active adults and children of all ages were here. We enjoyed ourselves and the other campers we saw were apparently having a lot of fun. The campground staff was unfailingly pleasant and helpful when we were in need.

The PVC drainpipe under our motorhome's kitchen sink came loose and flooded part of our coach. When I went to the camp store looking to buy PVC cement, they sent one of their maintenance men with a big smile and a huge can of it, that got us back in business at no charge.

My only complaint was that this campground has antiquated 30-amp electrical connections and low voltage, which frequently caused our coach and others to disconnect.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.

We've been going here in Feb with our VW club for quite afew years. We camp in our classic VW vans. They give us a nice loop to set up. All sites in the campground have elec/water/cable (including tent sites). In season, rates are on the upper end and there is a 5 night min stay in the summer. I have tent camped here many years ago as well. Nice area and lots to do nearby. Campground has indoor heated pool, hot tubs and sauna. Bathhouses are heated in the winter. Can be loud if snow....snowmobiles everywhere. This campground draws lots of NY'ers as seasonals. We always enjoy our visit.

Otter lake is a beautiful place with lots of amenities. indoor outdoor pools, hot tubs, and very clean well kept bath facilities. on top of that there is always something going on for people to do. I especially liked the pick up softball games they had every day in their own full size field. if you like to fish you'll be in heaven. great bass lots of action!! We try to make it back at least once a year. Top notch.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.
