A True Motorhome Resort

There was obviously a great deal of planning that went into the design of this motorhome-only resort and the ongoing maintenance and upgrades keep it in top-notch condition. All roads and sites are paved and many of the sites are finished with pavers.

The sites are large enough for a motorhome plus a car or other small vehicle and are separated with shrubs to provide privacy. All sites not only have full hookups, but many have more than one sewer and water connection so they can easily line-up with different motorhome configurations.

During our stay the resort maintenance crews kept all sites clean and free of debris. There is daily morning trash collection at all sites. Understated elegance and tastefulness rules throughout. Garish awning lights and clutter on the sites are forbidden. Glass-top tables and four comfortable chairs are provided instead of the usual picnic tables.

Tennis courts, a playground, large swimming pool, hot-tub, small lake, lounge, laundry, fitness room and owners lounge complete the facilities layout. We found the Wi-Fi signal consistent and strong throughout the resort. Cable TV hookups at each site provides a good selection of both analog and HD digital channels.

There is no camp store on premises, but a shopping center is about three blocks away with a Publix supermarket. Sites 318-328 & 293-299 back up to a busy, noisy road. Avoid those if you like quiet. Everyone was friendly.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.

One of the nicest resorts you could stay at. Sites are all shaded with most having table and chairs. No picnic tables. Pool and hot tub were great. Escorted to site with help backing in. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.

Now This is What You Call a RV Resort

I've been to lots of RV campgrounds that claim to be resorts, but never really lived up to its claims. This was the only one where I really felt that we were in an RV resort. Everything here was clean and well maintained. Sites are not the usual concrete pad. Some even had brick fences and really great lighting and immaculate landscape. The staff was so warm and friendly. Even though our Motorhome looked old and poor beside our neighbors, they were not snobs or what. Sure, it's a bit pricey. But it's definitely worth it.

We stayed here in a Class C Motorhome.
