A nice park with a few issues

This park could have been perfect. It has polite and friendly staff, large and paved sites, lovely trails for hiking into the woods, good location close to San Antonio's attractions, security gate. However, it doesn't have a pool, there's a lot of road noise, and there are a lot of permanent residents as well. I would stay here again, though.

We stayed here in a Class C Motorhome.

Fantastic place to camp

First time at Alamo River and spent the 4th of July. Great crowd and lots to do. We fished and kayaked the Medina River. Lots of shaded spaces on the river and the swimming was fine.

After dark the staff put on the most sick fireworks show, all the people in the park thought it was great.

We have stayed in several RV parks but sold our rig last year and wanted to start camping with a tent. This was the only place in San Antonio we could find and glad we did. Even if we get another RV, will not go back to any other place.

Telling you, close to town but still very quiet and country.

We stayed here in a Tent.
