A typical pricey KOA

This KOA is just like any other - pricey for what you get. And in this area, the KOA can charge any price it wants because it's the only campground available. But then again, we did get what we need from this place. The sites are level and had full hookups even though it's a bit too short. There's wi-fi and cable TV. The grounds and facilities are clean. I just feel that for the $70 per night we paid for, we could have gotten more.

We stayed here in a 5th Wheel.

We stayed in the Safari field which got us away from the hustle and bustle of the main campground. Although we were backed up to I95 the noise from the highway was tolerable. This campground is close to many major attractions in Mystic. The campground is very busy with lots to do. When we were there they had skydivers land right in one of the fields. This campground has an abundance of seasonal sites and lots of traffic with vehicles coming and going all the time. I would return for a weekend although the prices are high.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer 5th Wheel.
