Local Directions: We are located about 10 miles east of downtown Indianapolis just off I-70 at Exit 96 which is the Mt. Comfort Exit. Go South 1/4 miles past McDonalds & the Shell Gas Station and turn left on County Road 200. The camp is on the left. It is possible to enter the campground by turning left at the light across from McDonalds - in which case you'd take an immediate right after entering the camp & follow the signs to the office.

Friendly staff. At registration, we were notified that they recently had a lot of rain so the original site we selected for our reservation would be really soft so they recommended changing the site. We were allowed to take a deluxe campground site of choice so we could be near the dog park. Love the BIG dog park area, large enough to play fetch with my dogs and they offer potty bags for picking up after your pooch. Plenty of yard w/each deluxe site but gravel lot is not very level. Ground really soft & muddy from recent rains. Only real complaint is that there is ONLY 1 shower/bathroom for entire campground which means you have to hike to reach it & there is no direct trail once you cross the walking bridge over the creek. You either have to walk thru campsites/cabin sites or take long way around through park. Plus, it took almost 2 minutes to get hot water with barely any water pressure. Bonus fact, KOA is right next door to an RV dealership & a McDonald's should you need to visit either. BTW, WiFi worked fine for us.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed several days in a good-size, easy-access, pull-through site, although in our area of the park the sites were fairly close together. Stream runs through campground. Lots of things for kids to do as you would expect at a KOA. Good cable and wifi with good signal.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.
