Local Directions: Located 0.8 miles from I-10 on the right hand side. It is the second campground on Highway 433, right past Pine Crest. You will first pass by the exit sign before you reach the entrance. There are flashing green arrows at both the entrance and exit of the property. Coming from the South on I-10, take Exit 263 (Hwy 433/Old Spanish Trail). Take a right off of the interstate. Coming from the North on I-10, take Exit 263 (Hwy 433/Old Spanish Trail). Take a left off of the interstate. If you overshoot the entrance, it would take a while for a turnaround, so it is recommended to drive slowly after passing Pine Crest in order not to miss it.

Not close enough to New Orleans

We stayed here for our visit to New Orleans. When we stayed here, they had a small bus that took campers into New Orleans. It was nice not having to look for a place to park. The bridge across Lake Ponchatrane was a long haul so the bus was a nice perk.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.
