| Good enough if not for the trains | |
This KOA is definitely kid-friendly, I'd give it that. My kids had fun at the playground and made a few new friends. You can rent a bike here, fish at the private lake, or play putt-putt golf too. As for facilities, they all look clean and new, including the bathrooms. We had a full hookup site, good cable TV and decent wi-fi. The staff were very friendly and helped us back into our site. I have two issues, though. One is the sites are too close together, making it hard to move around, especially when it's full and the other guests just park their cars wherever they want to. The other is the train noise. The front side of the park is only a few yards away from a railroad, and the noise can be overwhelming even in the small hours.

We would like them to have more pull-through sites, as that is what we prefer, so it's often hard to get one here. Otherwise, the campground is adequate with average maintenance and grounds-keeping.
