Beware! Dysfunctional management!

Managed by a dysfunctional (IMO) HOA board. Carolyn Mack, board president, apparently doesn't think it necessary to treat campers with respect nor follow FL statutes. We were there for three months (Dec 2022 - Feb 2023). Although we were not particularly enjoying ourselves, we were quiet and kept to ourselves. Three weeks before we were scheduled to leave, we were evicted without reason, no discussion, no written notice per FL statutes. We were told if we didn't leave by the end of day, the sheriff would be called. Because we did not like the area anyway, we chose to return home. After returning home we sent two separate letters requesting information as to why we were evicted - both have been ignored. They should have at least had the courage and decency to respond!
Otherwise - PROS: Paved, shaded sites. Nice pool. Nice gatehouse workers. CONS: Close sites. Poor water pressure. Inadequate Internet service. Sewer lagoon next to campground often smells. Lots of barking dogs. Location is 20 minutes from most stores, restaurants, & gas stations.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

We were here with our camping club and I vowed to never return. We were camped next to the sewage treatment plant and because it was extremely warm the stench was horrific, plus the flies could be ridden by a small child.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.
