Fantastic Park with Stunning Views

Simply love this park. We had site B32 near the restroom. It was a paved electric and water site with 20, 30 and 50 amps. The services worked well. There is no WiFi here, but I had good AT&T coverage.

All sites at this campground are well spaced apart, flat, paved with a picnic table and grill. There are no open wood fires allowed.

The restrooms were large, modern and clean with several large hot showers.

The scenery is simply stunning with the surrounding mountains. It is a quiet campground and you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere even though you're only 15 miles from Tucson. There are lots of trails to hike too and I loved stargazing from my campsite.

Also has a couple of dump stations so it's easy to empty your tanks when you need to.

Cannot say enough good things about this park. I highly recommend staying here.

We stayed here in a Class C Motorhome.

First of all you feel like you are out in the middle of nowhere when right across the highway is all the shopping you could possibly want. Clean, new, large spots with spectacular views and good hiking. Reasonable rates.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

Marvelous desert and mountain views.

There's nothing much to say about Catalina State Park except that it's beautiful. The views of the mountains and the desert from our sight were breathtaking. Our site was large and clean. It only had electricity and water, but it was more than adequate. The location is great for sightseeing and shopping in Tucson. We will definitely return.

We stayed here in a 5th Wheel.
