We stayed march 2012 and found it to be very nice and clean. Right on the beach. I do not know why they do not allow dog walking on the beach.

We stayed here in a Class B Motorhome.

The camground had a nice view of the beach. It's kept very clean even though it doesn't have any hookups or other amenities. The sites are large enough to double park, grassy and with level, paved parking. Has nice trails for walking and biking. Very quiet at night. The nightly rate is a bit pricey, but it was all right.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.
