Quiet campground, don't drink the water!
Written by Trishaz717 on September 23, 2010

This was a nice, quiet campground with modern facilities. There were showers & flush toilets. There are some sites that have electric hookups. I think only 6 or 8. I like this park because I could bring the dog. Most state parks in Jersey do not allow pets. We stayed in the off season, so there wasn't a lot going on. We stayed in site 36 (I think). It was right next to the walkway to the pond and the "deck." Although the water from the pumps is supposed to be potable, it's not. I was sick two nights in a row and it took me that long to figure out I was the only one that ate the food that I used that water to cook with. Live & Learn. The park is peaceful. I did not get to any of the trails. My dd broke her ankle on the bike trail the second day we were there!

We stayed here in a Tent.
