Excellent park. Kayaking/canoeing (with gators), biking, hiking available. No rentals. Sites well shaded, decent privacy, clean bathrooms.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

Nice park. Enjoyed the prairie and looking for the bison. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Would stay here again .

We stayed here in a Class C Motorhome.

Probably the cleanest state park we've been to

We absolutely love this state park. The sites are roomy and nicely shaded and there's greenery separating the sites. The shade and the greenery definitely adds to the sense of privacy. The park only has electricity and water hookups and the trees prevent getting any satellite signal, but we were able to get decent local channels. There are a lot of hiking trails to explore and there's a boat ramp for canoeing and kayaking. There are also plenty of opportunities to view wildlife. We saw bison and wild horses about. What we love most about this park is how clean it is. The bathhouses are old, but they're spotless. We are certainly coming back next year.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.
