We enjoyed our stay here, clean and quiet.

Great being so close to Mesa Verde National Park especially for the ease of getting tour tickets. We had no problems with flies like mentioned in another review. Very friendly

We stayed here in a 5th Wheel.

This site was definitely not the best i've been to. Although the scenery is nice, everything is crammed together. Literally your neighbor is in your face, which is not something that most people enjoy when trying to vacation. Not really great tv signal either, so thats something to be mindful of.

We stayed here in a Class B Motorhome.

This park has the potential to be better than it is. The unpaved roads to the various sites could be graded a bit better. The scenery is lovely; the campground owners are courteous; the park is practically at Mesa Verde's front door. The biggest drawback: the park is surrounded by a horse farm; the flies were terrible. A group of us camped there in early summer, and had planned outdoor activities around our campsites (it was a group rally). Nothing we did seemed to help us avoid getting bitten. We won't camp there again, unless the horses are no longer around (and that probably won't happen ... Colorado is horse country!).

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.
