| Peaceful, Beautiful, Great Views | |
First time staying here at Great Falls Campground, I read mixed reviews about it. But let me say if you're lucky and get a riverview site, what more can you ask for? The sites are roomy and long, I am able to get site number 007 which is for disabled campers, with a huge concert pad for the RV. It's about 80' long and about 20' wide, but the end is about 40'x30' with handicap access picnic table, BBQ and fire pit. The river is about 100' away, showers/restroom are about 150' away, dump station is across from this site. I would and will stay here again!
We stayed here in a Popup Trailer. | | Comments (0) |

| nice park sites 1-20 along the illinois river have great views | amitty Newbie September 14, 2012 |
Sites1-20 are right on the river bank. Great for watching barge traffic. Locks a short bike ride away.

| Great view of the illinois river and its barge trafic. | |
River sites are not real wide but very deep. Campground and restroom facility very clean. Should take own water. Water supply is nasty.
We stayed here in a 5th Wheel. | | Comments (0) |
