I loved this park. No wi-fi, spotty cellphone service, fantastic place to get away from it all. They keep it very clean, they have many activities for the kids and at night you could hear coyotes howl because at 10:30 the campground was completely silent. When I am ready to hide out from the world again this will be my first choice!!

We stayed here in a Popup Trailer.

Camping in the heart of Rocky Mountain National Park is always a treat. This seemingly rustic campground has much to offer: tall whispering pines, the Colorado river running through the area, moose wandering along the river banks, lots of hummingbirds, and (in the hot summer) cool breezes. The campsites are gravel, but grassy areas abound. The campground is close to Grand Lake, so a jaunt to town for dining and shopping is easy. The prices are reasonable, and the campground hosts are very good. The chuckwagon breakfast was excellent.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.
