Location Address: 103 State Park Rd, Doyline, Louisiana 71023 GPS: 32.441469, -93.381456 View on Map Local Directions: From Shreveport: Take I-20 east to exit 33 (Haughton/Filmore). Go to the right and then take an immediate left on Hwy 3227, which dead ends into Hwy 164. Take a right on 164 and go about 4-5 miles until you reach the town of Doyline. Take a right at the flashing caution light (Hwy 163). keep straight about 8 miles. Look for Lake Bistineau State Park Area 1 sign to the right. Turn left to enter main gate. Stop by the Park Office for further instructions!

Open All year Gate Hours: Gates are open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday through Thursday; entrance station is open 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Kisatchie National Forest-Caney Lakes Recreation Area (North of I-20 on LA 159) - This area offers picnick- ing, swimming, fishing, waterskiing, hiking/biking trails, boat launches, group picnic shelters, and 27 improved and 21 unimproved campsites. The 7.6-mile Sugar Cane National Recreation Trail circles upper Caney Lake and offers a forest ecosystem, views of the lake, and the visible remains of an old sugar cane mill.
