Though you are in the city, the design of this park makes you feel like you are way out in the boonies. There is a bit of noise during high traffic times. The sites have level pads and a large tent area. This small park is an ideal spot for a base camp to explore Jacksonville. We had a lakefront site for $14 with the senior discount. Would stay here again.

We stayed here in a Class B Motorhome.

Nice park. Quiet. Long drive in to sites. Recommended to unhook tow vehicle if you are pulling one. Plenty of room at sites. Showers and bathrooms are just OK. Good value. Watch for bugs though!

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.

We stayed here in November of 2011 and besides the rain, it was a great little park. Super convenient to town and the expressway without being loud, most of the sites were spacious and overall well kept up. The only major downside was the tiny entrance and the long gravel road along the lake to get into the camping area.
