Just like camping on the beach. We stayed across the road from the beach because only tents were allowed in front of us but we still had a view of the beach. Some OK bike trails, too

We stayed here in a Truck Camper.

Just love camping near the beach and riding bikes to the lighthouse. However, this year, we had an issue with the sand gnats. We will return, but next time bring a large outdoor fan and more bug spray. The campground is nice, the facilities are clean, the staff and volunteers were great.

We stayed here in a Popup Trailer.

We love this state park. The people are super friendly. They have many very secluded sites just a short walk to a great beach. This offers a great taste of the South Carolina Low Country. Park is a distance from any shopping (about a 20 min. drive) which is a plus for us. Nice camp store. Dog friendly, uncrowded beach. Very natural setting.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.
