Where to Park?
We've just recently transferred to a new home. We're currently doing some renovations to expand the garage to accommodate our Motorhome. For the moment, I've parked it in our yard. A friend of ours who came over during our house warming pointed out that parking our Motorhome is not a good idea. Something that has to do with the moisture and the grass and stuff. Right now, it's just the bottom of the tires that are covered by the grass so I really don't see any problem. Is there any truth to what my friend said?

Yes, there is. Even though it's just the tires, it can also eventually lead to some damage on your tires in the long run. If you don't have any other place to park your Motorhome while you're having the renovation, try to put some bricks underneath the tires so that there is no contact. Tire covers would also help.

Re: Where to Park?
It really depends on how long are you going to keep your Motorhome there. If it's just a few weeks, I'm sure that it will be fine. Just add some leveling blocks underneath to keep your Motorhome level.

I agree with angela. If you're just parking it there because of the renovation, it shouldn't cause any problems. If at all, the damage will be more on your yard since the weight of the Motorhome might cause the grass not to grow evenly.
