Re: Keep Dry When Camping
When pitching your tent, it's best to set up a tarp above and underneath your tent. The tarp underneath will help prevent the rainwater from seeping into the tent. The tarp above the tent will keep you some added shade and protection, especially when the rain starts pouring really hard.

Re: Keep Dry When Camping
I usually put a tarp under and above my tent when I pitch it. It gives a sort of barrier from the ground and keep me away from the damp feeling especially during the cooler months. The tarp above allows me to still go outside even though it's raining.

In terms of keeping dry, I'd also suggest keeping on you one or two of those quick-drying towels. There's loads of them out there to choose from and they so come in handy. Compact, functional, a must-have.

Also you want to remain dry, with that first article of clothing that gets wet, just change it if you have that option, especially when it comes to your socks. You will not believe how quickly your camping trip could come to an end with blisters or Submergeon foot.
