Proposed Homeless RV Park in North Austin
A vacant furniture warehouse on the corner of Braker and Burnet in North Austin, TX may become a homeless RV Park. The lot is currently strewn with decrepit couches that serve as temporary beds for homeless people. Mobile Leaves and Fishes President Alan Graham wants to to change that. "We want to create an opportunity for people, allow them to get off the streets to heal from the ravages of living off the streets. Let us as a community begin to help them rediscover their purpose in life," he added.

While some people, such as parents of children who go to school across the street from the lot, have reservations about the proposed Homeless RV Park others see it as a good thing. I'm not opposed to it. I can't see a reason why it wouldn't work. I think it could be positive if it can be contained if you will or just more managed." said a mechanic who works in close proximity to the lot.
