Re: Pets in campgrounds--your thoughts???
I'm sorry, but it sounds like your friend is way too high and mighty for his own good. Not to mention unreasonable. Camping is something that everyone can enjoy, pet owners or non-pet owners. And just because you have allergies doesn't mean that you need to require all campgrounds to make things comfortable for you. In the first place, if his wife already has allergies, the least that they could have done is to carefully choose the campground that they stay at. There are lots of campgrounds that don't allow pets. Second, they should have brought their medications, just in case it strikes. I actually suffer from asthma and I bring my inhaler with me everywhere I go just in case. So far, I've been to campgrounds that there are pets and those that don't have any pets, and haven't had the need to use it.

That's a really nice way of putting it, Josh. But you got a point. Solution there is simply to stay in campgrounds that don't allow pets. Perhaps the guy should be educated on how to use advance search filters when doing a campground search. Hahahaha!!!! :)

Perhaps the friend didn't know that there are actually campgrounds that don't allow pets inside the campground.
