| A friend of mine just emailed me a link to this article on How Campers are a Danger to the Environment. Quite shocking and in a way, it got me thinking. Thought I share this here and here what your thoughts are. |

| With the way how some campers are, I'm not one bit surprised. I've been to quite a lot of campgrounds where we had to spend some time cleaning up the trash left behind by the previous campers that used it. Not to mention all the junk that I see along some of the trails that I hike along. Ironic, isn't it? Lots of people go camping to enjoy the outdoors, but don't really do much to help take care of them. |

| Sad to say, but there is a point to it. Like what mary mentioned, there are a lot of campers out there that don't seem to take care of the campgrounds and trails that they use and enjoy. Trash left all around and stuff. But more than that, the surge of campers these days have been, as I was told, causing a lot of the really nice sites and places to camp to deteriorate even more. A little bit of care and sense of responsibility on the part of the campers can definitely go a long way. After all, we're the one who's going to lose at the end if we don't. |

| Guess it's just a harsh way to remind all of us that whenever we go out camping, we are responsible in making sure that we take care of the places where we go camping. Like what Maggie said, we're going to be at the losing end anywhere if we don't. |

| Here's a danger for us motorhome people, I have been on the road for 7 weeks now traveling down the East coast and up down and around Florida. These people with GD cell phones talking and texting while driving. Especially in Florida where it is still legal. FL people have no clue, cut in front of you, driving and steering with your knees while texting, etc, etc.. I've had many close call, 2 which I almost cut off someone to prevent a major accident, luckly all was ok. Cell phone people have NO clue!! |
