Re: Popup Campers Not Allowed????
That's the sad reality. One of the reasons why I prefer to stay in State and National Parks instead of most private campgrounds.

I agree with liz. A friend of ours experienced something similar. Although they had a really nice Motorhome, they were turned away by the campground that they were supposed to stay in because their Motorhome was about 10 years old. There are campgrounds that are just like that. I don't think that you'll be able to do anything except to charge it to experience and not go back there.

Sad, but true. There are just some private campgrounds that are run by owners that think their campgrounds are all that.

Re: Popup Campers Not Allowed????
I have nothing against people with popup trailers, but one thing that I noticed about them is they can be quite noisy compared to other types of RVs. When they pass through a campground during the odd hours, the noise is easily amplified by the silence and that can really be bothersome for some campers. That could be one of the reasons why there are some campgrounds that enforce this policy.

Re: Popup Campers Not Allowed????
That is a rather good point, mary. But if the popup camper is properly maintained, it's not really that noisy. If that's the case, then shouldn't they put the restriction on the hours when a camper checks in? I mean, any RV will be noisy and the noise will get amplified in the night if they come in and check in late at night or even during the wee hours of the morning.
